Assessment, diagnostic criteria, and outcome measures for knee, ankle, and foot avascular necrosis in children. A scoping review.

About

Avascular necrosis (AVN) is a condition that results from the disruption of blood supply to bone. It can develop idiopathically or secondary to trauma, disease, or medication. This study used scoping review methodology to determine the assessments, diagnostic criteria, and outcome measures used in children and adolescents (aged 0-18 years) with knee, ankle, or foot AVN. The review was conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology for scoping reviews.
