Our goal is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents who live with chronic lower limb pain. We will do this by providing the foundation for evidence-based, family-centered care.
We will do this by:
1. Developing a consistent set of condition definitions, appropriate diagnostic methods and core outcome measures usable by all health professionals who assess, treat, or support families in managing chronic lower limb pain in children.
2. Creating clinical guidelines applicable to all health professionals who manage children with chronic lower limb pain to improve equitable models of care across Australia.
3. Co-designing a research translation and education platform for families, children, health professionals, health professional support staff and health professional students to maximise guideline access and adoption.
